An unexpected drop in diesel and heating oil prices overnight in New Brunswick.
Diesel prices fell by nearly 23 cents at midnight Tuesday night when the Energy and Utilities Board involved its interrupter clause.
The most you will now pay in the province is just over $2.37 per litre.
Heating oil prices fell by just over 23 cents to a new maximum price of $2.16 per litre.
Gasoline prices remained unchanged at a maximum of just over $2.02 per litre.
However, Dan McTeague with Canadians for Affordable Energy believes gas prices will jump by around nine cents per litre at midnight Wednesday night.
