Starting Tuesday, May 17, the pedway in the Shoppes of City Hall between Chipman Hill and St. Patrick Street will close overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The closure will take place from Monday through Thursday until further notice.
The Fundy Harbour Group has begun extensive renovations in this area and the evening closure will allow for work that needs to be completed in public areas.
Residents and visitors can still access City Hall and all businesses in the pedway as they will remain open and accessible during regular business hours.
The pedway will return to regular hours in time for the Memorial Cup.
Signs will be posted and any necessary safety precautions in public areas will be taken as needed.
The city’s Customer Service Centre can be accessed using the outside street-level doors at the front of the building or the elevator in the Shoppes of City Hall pedway between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
