A 25-year-old man from western New Brunswick has died after a single motorcycle crash near Perth-Andover on Wednesday night.
Mounties answered a distress call from a person along a riverbank.
An unconscious man was found in the water and a crashed motorcycle nearby.
Officers were able to bring the man to shore and administered first aid until paramedics arrived.
The man was taken to hospital where he later died.
RCMP believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
An autopsy is being conducted.
The investigation is ongoing but police believe the driver lost control on Route 105 and was ejected from his motorcycle after it left the road.
