Commercial Properties Limited has been recognized by the Building Owners and Managers Association New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island (BOMA NB/PEI).
The company has been awarded “The Outstanding Building of the Year” award in the historical building category for CenterBeam Place in Saint John.
The award recognizes the best in commercial building management across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
“Buildings must meet standards in building management, operations, environmental/energy/emergency management, design, tenant and community relations, tenant satisfaction and personnel training,” said BOMA NB/PEI’s website.
CenterBeam Place is made up of a dozen distinct 19th-century buildings in one block of the city’s uptown.
The buildings are “joined together around an atrium and outdoor courtyard to create an inviting atmosphere for street front retail and upper story offices,” according to Commercial Properties.
“Original brick and beam construction is exposed throughout the property, which is home to many creative professionals, especially in Engineering and IT. ”
The local win qualifies Commercial Properties and CenterBeam Place for the national competition and award later in the year.
