A couple from St. Stephen has won $1 million.
Murdock Harmon and Angel Casey won the Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize of $1 million in the April 13 draw.
The guaranteed prize draw selection that Harmon and Casey won is a 10-digit computer-generated number included on every Lotto 6/49 ticket.
Harmon, who works as a carpenter is unsure whether or not he will retire just yet.
However, he mentioned he now has the freedom to do so whenever he feels ready.
Casey, who works in retail, said she will be retiring right away and is hopeful Harmon decides to do the same.
The couple intends to use their winnings to live a quiet life together at Harmon’s cottage and maybe do a little travelling with their grandchildren once the pandemic eases.
