A major cosmetics retailer is coming to the McAllister Place Mall in Saint John.
McAllister Place Marketing Director Tanya McCluskey-Kelly confirmed that Sephora is coming to the McAllister Place Mall, following an April 26 post on the mall’s social media promoting the retailer.
“It’s first to market in Saint John, so we’re very excited to be having Sephora open in McAllister place,” McCluskey-Kelly said in a call with Huddle.
McCluskey also confirmed where Sephora will open: the former berth of the Le Château clothing store, near the food court.
McCluskey-Kelly wouldn’t say when the shop is opening, noting she didn’t have a specific date. She deferred to Sephora, which did not respond to a request for comment before our publication deadline.
This will be the third Sephora location to open in New Brunswick. The store already has footprints in Fredericton’s Regent Mall and the CF Champlain Place mall in Dieppe.
Sephora, a French cosmetics chain, was founded in 1970 in Paris, and opened its first location in the United States in 1998 in New York City. Its stores sell more than 100 brands of cosmetics, make-up, skincare products, beauty tools, and accessories.
Sephora has more than 80 stores across Canada.
