Saint John needs a new police chief — for one day.
As part of National Police Week from May 8th to 14th, the Saint John Police Force is holding a “Chief for a Day” contest.
The force needs a new chief to take over policing duties for one day.
Candidates must be between the ages of five and 12 years old.
Aspiring candidates must submit a one-page essay explaining how they would make a difference in the community.
The new chief will spend the day at police headquarters checking out some “really cool things.”
All entries must be submitted by May 6th.
