Quispamsis has honoured 15 volunteers who are making a difference in the community.
Town council held its annual volunteer recognition event during Tuesday’s council meeting.
It has taken place every April for more than 30 years around the same time as National Volunteer Week.
A reception was held for the recipients, who each received a small gift from the town.
“It certainly is appreciated, all of the hours and work that you put in,” Mayor Libby O’Hara told the recipients.
“I know that probably some of your work weeks are not as long as some of your volunteer weeks.”
