Little orange flowers will be seen this June in 44 locations throughout southern New Brunswick, including Saint John.
A version of Marigolds and Murals will take place near the Lord Beaverbrook Rink celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The regular planting event with hundreds of school children can’t take place on Main Street due to planned construction activity, according to founder Barry Ogden.
To honour the milestone, a mural will be created at the corner of Main Street North and Douglas Avenue.
Ogden said marigolds will be planted again this year at Port Saint John and at the Carleton Community Centre, among other places.
“Quispamsis town council, Rothesay town council, along the road in [Grand Bay-Westfield], at the Boys and Girls Club and at Forest Hills School. We have a few in Sussex and we’ve been in St. Stephen before,” Ogden said.
A small planting event for Marigolds and Murals will be held outside the Lord Beaverbrook Rink on June 2nd at 10 a.m.
