A Nova Scotia woman is now a Jeopardy! champion.
Twenty-three-year-old Mattea Roach was the big winner on Tuesday, taking home a $32,000 prize.
During the Double Jeopardy! round, one of the questions she was quick to get right involved the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever.
She was also quick to tell host Mayim Bialik her winnings would be spent to pay off her student loans.
Roach currently lives in Toronto, but she has family in Halifax and Cape Breton.
She graduated from the Sacred Heart School of Halifax in 2015.
Game 2 goes Wednesday night where Roach will try and defend her title.
