Drivers in New Brunswick woke up to more bad news on Sunday with another unexpected hike in gas prices.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board invoked the interrupter clause overnight for the third increase since Thursday.
Gas is now selling for a maximum of $1.836 per litre, an increase of 7.2 cents.
However, the increase spared diesel users for now, as the price remains at $2.371 per litre – a record high.
Fuel prices experienced another rollercoaster week, starting with a one-day plummet before a series of hikes.
