Your next trip to the gas station in New Brunswick is going to cost quite a bit more.
After an unexpected drop on Tuesday night, fuel prices jumped again overnight.
Gas is now selling for a maximum of $1.738 per litre, an increase of 9.8 cents.
Diesel prices are up by 12.9 cents to a record high of $2.204 per litre.
Heating oil jumped by a whopping 18 cents to $2.017 per litre, also a new record.
The price for propane fell slightly to $1.322 per litre, down by 1.4 cents.
Expect those prices to climb even higher on Thursday night with the increase of the carbon tax.
That will add 2.21 cents to a litre of gasoline and 2.68 cents to a litre of diesel.
You can find the latest fuel prices on the New Brunswick Energy and Utility Board’s website.
