The Canadian Football League is returning to the Maritimes this summer.
TSN is reporting that Raymond Field in Wolfville will host a game on July 16th between the Toronto Argonauts and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The stadium at Acadia University holds 3,000 fans.
It will be the first CFL game in Atlantic Canada since 2019 in Moncton, when Montreal defeated Toronto.
The game is welcome news for local football fans, as momentum has stalled on a proposed expansion team, the Atlantic Schooners.
