Local business owners have mixed feelings about what pandemic rules to keep with provincial measures being lifted.
The Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce released the results of a poll to determine the reopening plans of their member businesses.
Fifty-four per cent of businesses indicated they will not enforce opening protocols while 46 per cent plan to implement one or more protocols.
Masks and safe distancing are the top options with 69 per cent and 67 per cent support, respectively.
Twenty-three per cent plan to ask for proof of vaccination while 26 per cent will leave it up to the customer.
The poll was conducted during the first two weeks of March.
