A 33-year-old Saint John man is facing charges after an investigation by the New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
The probe began in April after information came in from the Mounties’ National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
Last Thursday, police conducted a search at a Saint John home where a man was arrested and several electronic devices were seized.
On the same day, Andrew Douglas appeared in Saint John Provincial Court, where he was charged with possession of child pornography and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held in custody for another court appearance scheduled for Monday morning.
