Premiers in Atlantic Canada are expected to meet, and the Atlantic bubble will be on the agenda.
In a statement, NB Government Spokesperson Nicolle Carlin says,“We can not confirm any date for the possible reopening of the Atlantic Bubble. Dates are being considered but that will first be discussed among the Atlantic Premiers and our own COVID Cabinet Committee and decided by cabinet.”
Saint John MP Wayne Long stated in a tweet earlier today that Premier Blaine Higgs told Radio Canada, the target date is April 19th.

It’s expected Newfoundland and Labrador will not be included in the bubble when it first reopens.
Nova Scotia Premier Iain Rankin stated previously, “I had preliminary discussions just with the Maritime provinces,” said Rankin. “I haven’t contemplated Newfoundland at all at this point.
