Some good news for New Brunswick dental patients.
The ’emergency only’ restrictions put in place in March due to COVID-19 were lifted Friday and clinics are expected to open on Wednesday.
The president of the New Brunswick Dental Society says the delay is because members will need to prepare to return to work and comply with a new operating plan.
Dr. Joy Carmichael says they’ll be placing a strong emphasis in the early stages, on physical distancing and dealing with the backlog of patients unable to receive full dental care in the past seven weeks.
