Not everyone likes the ban on assault-style guns in Canada and those who don’t are quite vocal about it.
A group of Charlotte County gun enthusiasts are hosting a rally in St. Stephen on Friday.
Damien Legacy is a hunter who created the Facebook page “Pro Gun Rally-St. Stephen”. He doesn’t think the government really did the research on a lot of the banned weapons.
Legacy says a lot of people don’t like the way government went about bringing this legislation in while Parliament is not in session.
The rally will be held on King Street in St. Stephen at 1 p.m.
