The City of Saint John is reminding citizens to respect provincial restrictions.
Barriers are being installed at skate parks and dog parks due to reports of overcrowding and the lack of respect towards the two-meter physical distancing requirement.
Piles of stone are being placed within the two skate parks, and any open court where there is evidence of use.
The city is reminding citizens not to remove signage, caution tape or barriers and that playground structures, skate parks all sports courts, fields and dog parks are off-limits to everyone.
Some parks and green spaces will remain open as long as provincial restrictions are respected.
