Saint Andrews council is asking would-be visitors to stay home amid the ongoing provincial state of emergency.
The picturesque seaside destination has long been a popular spot for day-trippers or those looking for a break from city life.
Mayor Doug Naish and councillors issued a release stating that while essential services remain open, they do so to serve the community, not for tourists.
Public services like washrooms and attractions remain closed to the public.
The release states that the Town of Saint Andrews looks forward to welcoming visitors again once the state of emergency has been lifted.
