Although all New Brunswick Public Libraries are closed until further notice due to COVID-19, the people can still enjoy the contents of their libraries through the library’s electronic services.
On the Electronic Library New Brunswick’s website, the free downloadable digital collection services OverDrive (bilingual, English content), pretnumerique.ca (bilingual, French content) and CELA (bilingual digital audio and text-to-speech and e-braille) are available for anyone with a library card to use.
The web page also offers guides for how to download borrowed content on Android Tablets & Smartphones, Apple products and Kobo devices, as well as Online Databases covering topics from current events to health to language learning.
During this period of time, library books and content will not be charged overdue fines and due dates and library holds will be extended.
The Library’s book drop is closed as well as Library Services By Mail.
