The Federal Health Minister is thanking the medical and emergency service workers who are continuing to do their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Patty Hajdu also sent her thoughts to those employees who are working in grocery stores and pharmacies.
“Workers who are keeping our grocery stores stocked and the lights on. Thank you so much, we see you, we appreciate you and we are so grateful as Canadians that you continue to serve your fellow citizens. I am very impressed to see Canadians coming together in a crisis, but I’m not surprised,” Hajdu said.
During her update to Canadians on the coronavirus, Hajdu broke down saying “there are scared and lonely people you can reach out to via phone to ask what they may need during these trying times.”
