New Brunswick will see its first federal leader visit Monday since the election campaign officially kicked off last week.
People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier will be in Saint John for a meet and greet Monday night.
He will meet some of the party’s New Brunswick candidates and supporters at the Hilton Saint John starting at 7 p.m.
The party currently has candidates in eight of the province’s 10 ridings.
Bernier will hold a similar event in Fredericton on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, he is expected to visit Miramichi in the morning and Moncton in the afternoon.
Voters will head to the polls in exactly five weeks.
