Human remains found in Noonan, just outside of Fredericton, are being investigated by RCMP.
The Mounties Major Crime Unit discovered the remains on August 10th in a wooded area just off of Route 10, after receiving information from the public.
Their investigation has determined that the remains belong to a man, and that he was a homicide victim.
Efforts are underway to confirm his identity. RCMP cannot confirm how long that process will take.
