RCMP are in the Moncton area Saturday as part of their investigation into the disappearance and death of St. Stephen teen Brayden Thibault.
In a Facebook post Saturday morning, the RCMP said they would be joined by members of Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue.
“Search crews, police presence and RCMP air services can be expected in the vicinity of l’Université de Moncton,” said the post.
The New Brunswick RCMP announced this week they are now investigating Thibault’s disappearance as a homicide.
“We believe someone or more than one person is responsible for his death,” said Const. Jullie Rogers-Marsh on Tuesday.

The news came just one day shy of the two-year anniversary of Thibault’s disappearance.
Thibault was 17 years old when he was last seen on Gibson Street in Fredericton on July 31, 2017.
Rogers-Marsh said the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit will be searching “areas of interest” for Thibault’s remains in the coming weeks, but declined to elaborate.
