The manhunt continues for two teens suspected of killing three people in northern British Columbia last week.
On Thursday, police confirmed Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky have been sighted twice in the Gillam area of northern Manitoba.
Investigators said the sightings came before the vehicle they were driving was found torched in the area Monday evening.
Police said there have been no reported stolen vehicles which could be linked to the teens, leading them to believe they are still in the Gillam area.
Ontario Provincial Police had issued an alert after claims the pair were spotted in Dryden, more than 700 kilometres away.
Mounties said Thursday afternoon they have received more than 80 tips over the past 48 hours.
There continues to be a heavy police presence in the Gillam area. We have deployed our Emergency Response Team & Crisis Negotiation Team. The RCMP Major Crime Unit is involved, as well as RCMP North District resources. #rcmpmb pic.twitter.com/LLB8rRfBcv
