One of two people charged after a fatal motorcycle crash in east Saint John has pleaded not guilty.
Anne-Marie Savoy entered the pleas through her lawyer in Saint John provincial court Monday.
Savoy is set to stand trial on charges of perjury, obstructing justice, and public mischief on Jan. 6 and 7, 2020.
Her co-accused, John Ford, pleaded guilty in June to failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death and public mischief. He is due to be sentenced on Sept. 6
Ford will stand trial on a third charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death on Oct. 10 and 11, 2019.
The charges stem from a July 9, 2018, crash involving a motorcycle on Loch Lomond Road which claimed the life of 54-year-old Scott Robertson.
Savoy and FordĀ were arrested on the city’s west side in late January.
