Do not be surprised to see divers in parts of Grand Lake over the next few days.
The Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering is conducting underwater diver training near the Waterborough and Youngs Cove wharves until June 26.
While most of the training takes place within Base Gagetown, the maximum depth of its lakes and rivers are only about 21 metres.
Standard combat diver training requires dives to also take place at a maximum depth of 30 metres — which ideally suits Grand Lake.
The public is being asked to keep an eye out while enjoying activities in and around the Grand Lake area.
