If you are a fan of yard sales, Quispamsis is the place to be this weekend.
The town-wide yard sale is taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Aaron Kennedy, the town’s communications manager, said about 100 homes have registered for the annual event.
“But we know there’s a lot of people who just set their yard sale up and don’t actually register online simply because they know there will be so many people out and about on the streets that they’re going to discover their yard sale just about by accident,” said Kennedy.
The town has an online map showing where each of the yard sales will be.
Kennedy said the event is a pretty popular day on their spring calendar.
“The weather is supposed to be nice, especially a lot nicer than what we’ve been used to over the last few weeks, so the perfect day to get out and do some yard saling.”
Environment Canada is calling for sunshine with a high around 20°C.
The town is encouraging residents to donate any unsold yard sale items to Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Saint John.
