Voters in Saint John’s Ward 3 will head to the polls on Monday in a municipal byelection.
Six men and one woman have put their names forward to fill the vacant council seat — Anthony Capson, Andrew Costin, Katelin Dean, David Hickey, Frank James, Brad Mitchell and Adam Salesse.
The seat became vacant after Gerry Lowe won the riding of Saint John Harbour in last fall’s provincial election.
Elections New Brunswick says nearly 12,000 people in the ward are eligible to vote.
