There is still no end in sight to the dispute involving 4,100 nursing home workers in New Brunswick.
Earlier this week, the New Brunswick Council of Nursing Home Unions said the only avenue left in the dispute is binding arbitration.
The Liberals introduced a motion in the legislature Thursday calling on the government to do just that.
The Green Party introduced an amendment urging government to fully fund any agreement resulting from the binding arbitration process.
People’s Alliance leader Kris Austin introduced a sub-amendment saying it should be “under the terms and conditions acceptable to all negotiating parties and the province.”
No vote was held as the legislature ran out of time for the day.
