The New Brunswick government is asking residents to report any damage they received related to Thursday’s heavy rain.
Officials say reporting damage as soon as possible is an important part of the damage assessment and recovery process.
You can report it online or by calling 1-888-298-8555 between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays; the deadline is February 8.
DTI crews are dealing with flood-like conditions in the southern parts of the province which has led to some damage to roads, as well as closures. Please check with https://t.co/sZgd9Y35tX before travelling or follow @brunswick511 on twitter for the latest road updates.

Once the damage is assessed, the province will decide if a Disaster Financial Assistance program will be established.
Residents are also reminded to take photos of the damage and contact their insurance company right away.
You should also keep receipts of any repairs and replacement purchases for any uninsurable losses.
Residents cleaning their own property should log the amount of hours of work they do, along with any family members who are helping out.
