Get ready for a lot of snow, and maybe even freezing rain on Sunday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of Southern New Brunswick for a major system that will rip through the region.
Meteorologist Andy Firth tells us it will be a lot of snow in some places.
“From 20 to 60 cm of snow, but over some southern areas it will be changing to ice pellets and that could be an extended period of freezing rain,” stated Firth.
He says it will be relatively fast moving low.
” Overnight Sunday night it will be wrapping up to just flurries and those flurries will persist through the day and possibly into Monday evening before moving out of the area.”
He says there are no wind warnings with this storm but we could see experience gusts up to 70 km per hour at times.
