Fire crews in Fredericton made quick work of a blaze at a 16-unit apartment building on the city’s south side.
The blaze was reported in the four-storey building on Forest Hill Road around 3 a.m. Saturday.
The Canadian Red Cross says it was contained to the kitchen of one apartment in the building.

They say a woman, her teenaged son, and two other teenaged boys who were visiting escaped without injury.
Officials say they have been placed in a hotel pending cleanup and repairs.
