Three people have been arrested after a Quispamsis man reported being robbed on Nov. 29.
Kennebecasis regional police say the man placed an ad on Kijiji and met a possible buyer in a public parking lot.
They say the buyer allegedly brandished an imitation handgun and stole property from the victim.
Officers identified three suspects and arrested one, while two others were taken into custody after a “high-risk” vehicle stop.
Cooper Quinn, 18, of Rothesay, Joseph Chevraie, 24, of Saint John, and Daylan Ebanks, 25, of no fixed address are charged with armed robbery and a BB handgun was seized.
Police are reminding people to take precautions when meeting strangers to sell items listed online.
