A rainbow crosswalk to help celebrate diversity and inclusiveness has been defaced in the town of Richibucto.
A town official says RCMP are now investigating after black paint was sprayed on the colourful crossing sometime early Thursday.
The town had just painted the crosswalk on Tuesday.
Richibucto is one of numerous communities in New Brunswick which have painted colourful crosswalks this summer.
