Saint John police are investigating the last five armed robberies in the city as possibly being connected, CHSJ News has learned.
The latest one happened on the east side at the CIBC on Consumers Drive on Thursday evening where a man armed with a black handgun robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money.
He’s described as being middle-aged with a medium build and was wearing a dark winter coat, black hoodie, and was carrying a red bag.
The robbery took place at around 7:20pm.
Police are looking for the seeking the public’s help in solving this robbery along with other recent robberies in Saint John.
Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of $2000 for information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for the robberies.
