Another group of New Brunswick firefighters is travelling to British Columbia to help battle forest fires in that province.

An Atlantic Canadian crew of 16 firefighters from New Brunswick and five from Newfoundland and Labrador are headed to Kamloops today.

Twelve firefighters who sent there last month return to New Brunswick this week.

So far this year, 67 firefighters have been deployed to combat out-of-province forest fires.

Last year, New Brunswick sent 77 firefighters to provide assistance in Alberta and Nova Scotia.
