Prime Minister Trudeau says he and his MP's will make the rounds this summer listening and engaging people before what he says will be a busy fall Parliamentary session.

Trudeau did just that at an ice cream social in Grand Bay-Westfield which attracted a large turnout of people who wanted to take selfies with him.

The Prime Minister says his government cut taxes for 9 million middle class people while, at the same time, helping the elderly by enhancing the Canada Pension Plan.

Meantime, it was announced the Canadian mission in Iraq against ISIS will be extended another two years until the end of March of 2019 but Trudeau says there are no plans to send Canadian troops back into Afghanistan.
