Doctors in New Brunswick are among the groups worried about proposed federal changes to the small business tax.
But the premier is reminding everyone we are still in the consultation phase.
Brian Gallant says no decision has been made yet and he encourages anyone with concerns to provide their feedback.
“I certainly passed on many of the concerns and suggestions that I’ve heard to some of my colleagues here in New Brunswick on the federal side and to ministers within the Trudeau government,” says Gallant.
The federal government claims it wants to close tax loopholes but doctors say those are legitimate ways to maintain their practices.
Many doctors say they may have to retire early, reduce their hours or even leave the province.
The 75 day consultation period began in July ends on October 2.
