The UNB Varsity Reds won the university men's hockey championship for the second year in a row, 5-3 over the University of Saskatchewan before a capacity crowd at the Aitken Centre and on national TV. Centre Cam Braes scored four goals in his final game for UNB.

In the NHL, Carey Price made 30 saves for his 33rd win of the season as the Montreal Canadiens defeated Ottawa 4-1 to sweep the home and home series.......Sidney Crosby scored three goals in Pittsburgh's 4-0 win over Florida.....Chicago clinched a playoff spot with a 6-3 win over Colorado. The Blackhawks have won 5 in a row.....Elsewhere, it was Columbus 4 New Jersey 1 with the Blue Jackets clinching a place in the playoffs.....Winnipeg 5 Minnesota 4.....Philadelphia 4 Carolina 3 in overtime and Calgary 5 Los Angeles 2.

The Saint John Vito's take on the Moncton Flyers tonight in the third game of the Major Midget championship final. The Vito's lead 2 games to nothing after winning the second game over the weekend, 3-2. Gametime tonight at the Q-Plex is 8:00.

In March Madness, they're down to the final 16 with Duke being eliminated by South Carolina 88-81. Defending champion Villanova was also knocked out over the weekend by Wisconsin.

In the NBA, DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points in three quarters and all five Toronto starters were in double figures as the Raptors beat the Indiana Pacers 116-91.
