A home on the Titusville road in Upham is a total loss after a fire early Thursday morning.
The call came in around 4 a.m.
Hampton Fire Rescue deputy chief Mike Raeburn tells CHSJ News no one was home at the time.
“Upham fire, Nauwigewauk and Simonds were already on scene. For some reason, the 911 call went there first so, we took over once we got there.”
Raeburn says the cause is being looked into and the investigation is handled by the provincial fire marshal’s office.
30 firefighters were on scene for 7 hours.
