Seaside Park elementary school is $50,000 closer to its goal in order to have a new playground built at the school.
The working committee set up to take on the project feels the playground will not only help the students in the school but all the other children in the community as well.

When construction begain on the new school, the playground at Havelock school had to be demolished meaning those students and those who had come over when St. Pat's closed didn't have anywhere to play.
More fundraising will be required as one quote on constructing a playground estimated the cost at $250,000.
