Thousands Without Power In The Kennebecasis Valley

Several thousand New Brunswickers remain without power as a weather system continues to move across the province.

NB Power says about 9,700 customers are without electricity across the province as of 1:50 p.m. Saturday.

Most of those without power are in the Rothesay and Quispamsis areas of southern New Brunswick.

Meantime, Saint John Energy reporting that 300 customers in the Dominion Park area on the west side are without power.

Residents should have their power restored by around 2 p.m. Saturday.

About 100 customers in the Golden Grove Road/Bradley Lake Road area on the east side are also without electricity, but there's no estimated restoration time.
