There was a 19 per cent increase in housing sales last month in Saint John and for the year, sales are up by 8 per cent.
That word comes from Dave Cochrane of Remax who also tells us listings are up by 17 per cent compared to last year so there’s more to choose from.
The average price of a home in southern New Brunswick has gone up by 4 and a half per cent from almost $180 thousand to just over $188 thousand. Housing sales also were up in Sussex but down in Charlotte County.
Cochrane says two areas of the city saw notable gains in housing sales……..Fundy Heights and East Saint John.
