In New Brunswick Senior Baseball, the semifinal opener between the Saint John Alpines and Fredericton Royals was rained out.

Three Saint John Sea Dogs have left for National Hockey League rookie camps. Centre Cedric Pare is with the Boston Bruins. Boston's rookie camp also includes Pare's former teammate Jakub Zboril.
