Thousands in the Acadian Peninsula are still without power.
NB Power says their goal right now is to repair poles and safely restore the power to customers, including hospitals and industrial businesses.
Replacement equipment, like poles, power lines and structures were sent from Fredericton to the northern part of the province overnight. There are currently 20 crews on the ground in the affected areas.
At the height of the storm, around 7000 customers were in the dark, and NB Power says lightning made it very difficult for crews to work overnight.
