Police are reporting a body found in the Little River Reservoir.
Spokesperson Jim Hennessy says the search began in collaboration with several other agencies on Wednesday.
Saint John police closed the popular park on the city’s east side as part of the ongoing investigation.
The force first posted about the incident on Twitter shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, saying there is an “ongoing police investigation” in the area of Little Lake Reservoir.
No name will be released out of respect for the family.
Police do not suspect criminal activity to be related.
